This is one of the oldest buildings in town and originally used as a boarding house by Mrs. Clausen in the 1870s. Later it was the part-time residence of rancher Richie Conway and then school teacher Edna Beamon. The house was also lived in by Bill's father. In early 2000s it was renovated into a western ranch house style.
